What I’ve been Doing Lately and a Sneak Peek

Hello dear readers! I’m finding that I literally have to pencil time into my schedule to sit down and update the blog regularly. Between Dixie Dutch and teaching (I’ve been substitute teaching quite a bit lately) I am on the go most of the time. I am not complaining though….teaching and painting are two of my favorite things. I am so fortunate to be doing what I love every day!
A friend of mine is completely redecorating her dining room and asked me to paint her current buffet this week to add some contrast. I’m actually finished with it, but I want to wait until the new knobs are added and it’s set back up in the dining room. 
I have a couple other projects I’ll update on when I can.
In other news, the last piece of furniture for the library finally shipped and should be here this week. I KNOW! We have been waiting, waiting, waiting around here. I’m so excited to share it. There are a lot of fun details in the room, along with the pieces I painted.
I’m starting to get spring fever!! Anyone with me?
